This page explains what information Negril FootePrints Hotel collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it short and in plain words.

Who we are

What we collect, and why
Requests you send us
When you use a form on this site (a room request, a spa booking, a group dinner, or a wedding, celebration or retreat enquiry), we receive what you type: usually your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, dates and the details of your request. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange what you asked for.
Forms are sent through Formspark, a form service, and kept in the hotel’s email and Google account, which only our team can open. If a form can’t send, your own email app opens with your message instead.
Bookings on other services
Some buttons take you to services that handle the booking for us: our online booking engine for rooms, Eat App for dinner at Gatsby’s and Ticket Tailor for the Day Pass. They collect your details under their own privacy policies. When you choose dates on this site, we look up the free rooms for those dates on our booking engine: only the dates are sent, never your details.
Messages
If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we use your details to answer you.
Analytics and cookies
We use Umami to count visits and clicks. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal information.
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to see how our ads perform and to show you relevant FootePrints ads. It uses cookies, and it runs only if you don’t decline it in the cookie notice. Your browser remembers your choice.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run this website and your booking, such as Formspark, Google, Microsoft (our email), Meta, Eat App, Ticket Tailor and our booking engine, and when the law requires it. Some of these services store information outside Jamaica.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to handle your request and keep normal business records, and then delete it.
Your choices and rights
Under Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, 2020, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Write to reservations@negrilfooteprints.com and we’ll reply. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.
Children
Our forms are meant for adults. Please only share a child’s details when they’re needed for a booking, such as their age for a room or the All-Inclusive Plan.
Other websites
This site links to other websites, such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Maps and Tripadvisor. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
